Each sprint consists of four Scrum meetings, namely: Sprint Planning , Daily Scrum , Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective . In this article we are going to talk about the Daily Scrum.

The Daily Scrum is a daily meeting of max 15 minutes in which the team discusses the progress of the sprint together. The scrum team comes together at the Scrum board. The state of affairs is indicated per person. Often the following questions are addressed:

  • What have you done?
  • What are you going to do?
  • Are there any things that can make it difficult to achieve the goal?

So it’s just a moment to make a plan together for the next 24 hours. You will not be judged, but can count on support from the other team members. After all, you always get the job done as a team.

The Daily Scrum, or Daily Standup, does not involve lengthy discussions, but briefly, decisively and proactively throughout the day.
